With the arrival of our baby girl later this winter, I wanted to photograph shots of my son and my growing baby bump. When booking maternity shoots I always ask clients to choose a location that is sentimental to them. When I had to think of this for myself, my family's happy place is Saturday morning in our bedroom. We lie in bed, listen to music, drink coffee and play around as a family. This was the memory I wanted to capture and make sure I would remember 20 years down the road.
I set my husband up with my camera and we turned on Whitney Houston 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' (we are on a Whitney kick after watching her documentary) and enjoyed this time as a family of three.
